Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh (screen) to support an ink-blocking stencil to receive a desired image. The stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a t-shirt or other substrate. Basically, it is the process of using a stencil to apply ink onto another material whether it be t-shirts, posters, stickers, vinyl, wood, or any material that can keep the image onto its surface.
Screen print press
|Traditional screen printing requires having large and expensive printing presses and dryers. It is a labor intensive process, but there is practically no limit to what you can create and print. (Just check your t-shirt drawer…)|
Carpe Diem has four automatic screen print presses that can print from 1 to 12 colors on a single shirt. And collectively our presses can print in excess of 3000 shirts per hour. Our minimum is 24 pcs., and we have no maximum! Production time depends on quantity, but our “average” turnaround time is between 5 and 10 days.
We have full art and pre-press production staff to help you create the look you want. And of course we have all the latest colors and body styles of tees and other apparel items.
Pricing depends on what shirt you choose, the color and the quantity. It also depends on how many imprint colors and locations you want. For those reasons it is difficult to publish pricing. But if you give us a call and tell us what you have in mind, we can give you a firm quote. We just need to know some details.
So whether you are a new customer looking for 24 family reunion shirts, or one of our existing customers in need of thousands of shirts for your next national promotion, Carpe Diem can deliver!
